I’m looking at the clothes of the Yayoi and Jomon people from Ancient Japan, and had the urge to make MOAR avatar doodles of the people Ancient Avatar world.OC’s…OC’s everywhere lkasjfddjf
It is known that Legend of Korra takes place in the 1920’s Shanghai/NewYork/Hong Kong type time era.
And The Last Airbender takes place in 1850’s era.But I’m wondering how cool it would be to go WAYYY back like a millennia even before Kuruk and Yangchen, back when the Avatar World was ruled by spirits, gods and demons, and people were still learning how to bend from animal forces like badgermoles, dragons, and from nature itself. And when the first few incarnations of a divine spirit descended onto the earth in human form knew how to bend more than one element.
I have to admit, though I love the new emerging technology and modernization of Korra’s era, I still long for the romance of the old ancient world from eras past.
:UUUUUU

I am now filled with a sudden desire to see this world explored in more depth!
My god, if they did a far-back prequel after wrapping up Korra… yep, I think I would die of sudden-onset-wish-fulfilment.

Normally I don’t do the whole shipping thing, but after watching those first two episodes, this is who I ship, in alphabetical order:
Bolin.
Just Bolin. All the other characters can do what they want, with whoever they want, that’s cool.
But Bolin.

Text

Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Long ago, the three books lived in harmony, then everything changed when M. Night Shyalaman attacked. Only Bryke, Master of all 3 books, could stop him. But when the world needed them most, they vanished. Four Years have passed, and the Internet has revealed the new Avatar, a Waterbender named Korra. Although her bending skills are great, she has a lot to learn before she’s able to save anyone. But I believe Korra can save this show.
