Oh… Oh, no…
I have a habit of picking up words without actually learning them, only finding out their true meaning countless years later. Usually I’m never confronted with the truth because it turns out I have actually been using the word correctly all the while, but sometimes there are… outliers.
Just wrapped up the last of the remastered comics for inclusion in the upcoming book!
The original strip is here, and was first drawn in 2007 — so coming back to it with over 5 years’ further artistic experience and a little more sense in my head, I was able to give it a whole lot more polish than before. And this one was redrawn completely from the ground up; unlike some of the others with which I could use the originals as a base, I only used the original of this strip as a reference. That being the case, it presented the opportunity to really go all out on creating it anew, and as such I think it’ll be a nice little bonus for anyone reading the book when it’s done!

I’m currently redrawing this comic, for inclusion in my upcoming print collection of As You’re Up comics; it’s given me the chance to fix a lot of things wrong with the original, and I really like how it’s looking already. Once this one’s finished, the inner content of the book will be officially complete! I’m pretty excited!
After that, all that’s left to do will be the cover, which hopefully I’ll be able to wrap up tomorrow.
